About Me
Mission Statement: Throughout this course, I hope to become more self-sufficient in my learning as well as develop confidence in professional interactions, deepen my knowledge about medical law by gaining new insights into the legal profession, as well as create an impactful final product that aids in the legal world.
Hi! My name is Kalina Yates and I am currently a Junior attending Frisco High School hoping to gain more insight into medical law this year in the Independent Study and Mentorship program. I have taken both Survey of Government and Court Systems, which allowed me to take mock trial at the Career and Technical Center this year. In addition to these classes, I am apart of the Collin County Teen Court; therefore, I have a strong dedication and familiarity with the law. Aside from school, I have been a competitive rock climber for seven years. I also enjoy traveling, babysitting, and adventurous activities. For this upcoming year, I am greatly excited to thrive in a professional workplace while simultaneously learning more about what I love.
